oz *sti* Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 About time as well, not only should the police be doing something would also be interesting to get there insurance company's involved [] to see how many have actually declared mods body kits / exhausts / sound systems etc, etc... How many would still be covered once there insurance company's find out what they have done to there little car [au]
ANDYJDMSTI Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Agree with Oz about the insurance companies. Afew people on here need to watch out too []
G.T. Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 maybe they thought irish Al was one of the chav brigade and pulled him for his plates (twice)[]
Edinburgh-Chris Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 A certain person i know from round my way got a ASBO Warning issued by the police as one of his Neighbours complaned about the loudness of his exhaust......he is no boy racer and has plenty to worry about. The way it works is only one person needs to make a formal complaint and thats enough for an ASBO warning to be placed on your name, the car and the owner of the car for 12months. If you are caught doing anything in your car for example, using the phone whilst driving, running an amber light or cutting someone up then they now have the power to remove your car from you........or the car you are driving, even if it's a company car or a Lothian bus, they take it off you. Then you have to pay £105 + £12 for every night they hold your car in storage and you still have the worry of the punishment for the actual road traffic violation! More TAX on the British road user and some people on here assume that only NEDS in Saxo's need to worry. You have been warned folks, i am certainly not crying wolf on this one. Chris

Chris So from this, any narrow minded little sh1t you have ever had a run in with now has the power to ruin your life, even if you have done nothing wrong.WTF is this country coming to?? What a bunch of snivelling, complaining, petty, spineless, boring, namby pamby c**ts!!! Bout time Britain as a whole got a grip and pulled their heads out of their anal tracts!! [:@][:@]
Edinburgh-Chris Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Here here Andy, the fact is, you go to the shops or the pub and have a fall out with someone over something like the football, you leave as thats better than fighting them and they phone the police and explain nicely that you tore the tar from the road at 6000rpm and was smelling of drink in the process.....all of a sudden you are the criminal and Mr Police Officer talks to you like your stuck to his boot! This Country gets worse and worse, now if someone annoys you on the road you must phone and grass them up prior to them doing it to you!!! Fantastic idea Mr Blair, you got my vote next time Sunshine. Chris
Gumball Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 i done even want to get started with the joke that is........our country now but i have to ask if they call the police as you cut them up/rip past them. do the police arrest you or them for not being on hands free? "oh but i pulled over when i called to complain about teh blue subaru" "oh but i wasnt speeding, what are you talking about?" cant prove either so i would suggest that the nuisance police phoners SHUT IT
IanJ Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Thank f*ck i'm outta there! Good luck with the asbo's and the snow....i'll just worry about getting sunburned []

IanJ Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Hi Sharon, I'm not in Aus yet, still in New Zealand and the family are in Larbert! We all fly into Perth next week and then we can start settling. Hows the job? You fed up of moaning scoob drivers yet? Ian

Ian If you are in Auckland pop in to the Dispersary bar opposite the skytower and see my mate Chris, spent many a time there getting bad cases of amnesia []
IanJ Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Not done that one yet Andy. It's paddy's day over here now, so it'd be rude not to go for a few beers this afternoon so we might pop in.
