pedro
I have removed the backing for the vent which covers my induction kit, does it wonders in the wet and dry, re cold air, and it looks good through the vent as well. Problem is though....will water going in through the vent when I am not driving, cause any damage to my engine parts or induction kit?????? Link to comment
pault
I have that vent cover removed myself, but don't have an induction kit. I've heard that removing the vent covers does absolutely nothing to the performance and is a bit of a waste of time... Link to comment
CAZ1562
I have the blanking plate still fitted under this vent & I find during heavy rain the car is very sluggish. It actually feels like its on 3 cylinders, FTR I have a HKS SPF induction kit. Link to comment

chrisp
You have two alternatives. 1) By the nice 22B style ones which look cool but wont affect air flow 2) By one of the mini scoop replacements ones (can get them colour coded as well) which would feed air into it. Dont know how much rain it would keep off but it might channel the air better. Just a thought. Link to comment
