Erm, yes that would be showing what happens if you take duffus a little too quickly whilst backing off.  Lesson learned - won't happen again

Great day. Really enjoyed myself in the new car (red classic with irish plates). Its much more of an animal than the 04WRX.

It was good to put a few faces to names as well.

Was not so sure about the cones though. It was a bit like being in the worlds fastest contraflow

Roll on the next SIDC day

Ruby- Have seen the clips, they are really good. Always good to see a bit of flame out of the back of the car

Fai 17 - It was a hot marques day. Or actually a hot marques + corsa day! Think the next SIDC day will be the next time i get on track. And it cant come soon enough.

There are some really great pics on this thread. Especially like poah's Pick of the car comming out of the hairpin. If anyone else has any of me (red Irish plate classic) Just let me know

Glad you had a good time Andy [;)]

Did you see my reply about the brakes on the 1.o.c? Get the Ferrodo ds2500's on & the brakes will last a lot longer before fade.

I certainly did see the reply mate, thank you!

The pads got a good pummeling so there isn't heaps left on them, they'll do for a month or two yet and it'll be a set of DS2500s, 5.1 fluid and probably braided lines.

The car was simply awesome on track, I'm so glad I tracked it only 1 week after getting it as I've now got so much more confidence in it.  The stock P-Zeros are rather good on Knockhill [;)]

Yep Like the Pzeros myself, they get a bit squealy/noisy on a warm day at KH, managed to scrub of quite a bit of rubber on the near side tyres one of the sessions last year, found some of it stuck on the inner arch washing it after, looked like rubber string lol.

Standard pads lasted 2 sessions, but were covered in cracks when i changed them.

I found tonnes of mud lying on the drive on Sunday morning and the O/S/R arch protector trim hanging off!!  The inside of the arch was packed with earth on both sides yet I kept it on the shiney stuff all day [;)]
