rasher Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 lost my wash leather last week looked high and low for it nowhere to be found, was called away in the middle of cleaning the wheels and totally forgot where I had put the leather when I came back! Went to meet Bob this am, everything was fine until I drove out of the car park when I started hearing a knocking sound coming from underneath the car, after a couple of mins it stopped. I got home had a look around the car and found the remains in the front off side wheel jammed up by the caliper. Managed to get it all out brakes and discs seem to be fine, although everything was covered in black dust. The inside of the wheel though has got a 2 inch line around the inside where something has rubbed the paint off the inside of the wheel. I suppose it could have been alot worse. Now to find the closest gold to my wheel colour to try and match up the worn part[]
blue boy Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Easily done Nige! As you say it could have been worse! Would it be worth contacting a wheel refurbisher? PM me if you want contact details! Bob
