advice on my lights please

hello ive a MY01 wrx wagon with morrettes fitted from new, my passenger side dipped beam bulb went yesterday i went to the dealers today and replaced it . Then i noticed my main beam was also not working so replaced that now my dipped beam wont work unless the lights are on main and the main beam aint working at all! this is only happening on the passenger side the drivers side is ok. ive got a feeling its an earth problem but not sure and also dont know what else to try . any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Sounds like a wiring fault to me, i had a similar problem on my Rover convertable many a moon ago.

Stick a post up in Technical thats where the boffins hang out[8-|]

doulble check that the bulbs are seated properly...if not..you can get weird patterns, happened with my classic.

IIRC correctly there are relays also check they are ok too.

went out this morning and the dipped beam is now working but no main . i think its a loose wire or bad connection somewhere thanks for the advice lads and ill have a good look when i gat some good light
