2nd April- April Run 2006

Evening,

There was a thread relating to the proposed March run. This was proposed the day after the RaceNight and i changed it to ensure that that event wouldnt be overshadowed by this.

The Race night is a great fundraising event for the RB Memorial Fund and to this end i moved the March run into the first weekend in April. Hence the reason its called the April Run.

I think that we should make a £5 donation per car on this run in order to raise as much as we can for the charity. If we got 50 cars again we would raise £250.00 for the fund !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a thread in the events section and i would kindly ask that people "should they fancy it" add their names to the list and make it another good run.

I posted last night that as one of the organisers of the race night that I didn't have a problem with the run being on the same weekend, as I know I will get little or no support for this event from the Subaru Community. As I said last night before the thread was deleted that the event will go ahead with every effort to raise as much money for Cancer Research as possible and that I will probably attend the run ( in the slow group[]).<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

This place needs is more positive input and less negative posts.[]

As 110 people out of the 120 attending this event dont drive scoobs  , I doubt it . This  event has been in the planning for over two months, has been posted in the events forum as it is an EVENT but the support from Scottish scoobies has been overwhelming ......NOT. Gumball was never asked to move the run and both myself and Malcolm were keen to attend on the Sunday , so if him moving the dates doesn't suite then see him, dont bring the racenight into it. This carry on lastnight ,well nobody seen the racenight thread but it had recieved 208 views, had stars beside it and has been there for sometime beggars belief .No wonder so many of the GOOD guys are leaving and letting the hangers on get on with it. Gumball this is not a dig at you or anyone else who does more than put than their opinions forward . A little more support here and there wouldnt go a miss would it.

I want people to attend the April run and have a good time. I dont need/want to know anymore anymore about anymore and would like the planned run that a lot of newbies wont have experienced before to go well and for us to have fun and hug trees.

I want your racenight to be a success and i want people to donate/raise as much as they can for RB.

I want someone to buy my TMIC and Turbo then i can turn my car back to standard and want for nothing
