Hi m8 you should try a company like bishops move or one of the other house removel companys they are always up and down to london so you might get luck plus if they are going to go that way it would be cheap as hell.

Anyone but Parcel Farce.

Agreed, of the few times i've used them they never met their service agreement (24hours etc) and once lost my brake calipers for well over a week (They were on a next day service from Godpseed and the car was on stands!)

Citylink i've found pretty good.

£550 stereo sold on ebay sent Parcel Force next day. Fellow wasn't in to collect, fair enough. Parcel Force ring me up "Umm, we sent it out for delivery this morning, but he wasn't in, but we can't seem to find the box now. We're sure it's in the depot somewhere. Can you describe the box for us?"

I was bricking it as I'd skimped on the insurance. It turned up 2 days later in the back of the truck!

Thanks for the replys. Im trying some of them out. Sandy bruce trucking wouldn't even quote. They just said it would cost an arm, leg and probably a b****ck too!

By the way folks. The woman I'm buying the STI seats from is breaking her car so if you need anything I can ask her (STI4 Wagon). Back lights are gone cos I've had them. She has the turbo unit etc..

Sandy bruce put me in touch with Thistle Couriers in Dyce. They charge £17.50 for the first 20 Kilos and 50p per kilo after that. Interior weighs 65 Kilos so I make it £39.50. Don't think I can get better than that. Think I will book with them and let you know how it goes. Could be handy for the future.

It's not costing me much more to move all my stuff to Oz!

That kind of puts things in perspective LOL!

Thistle Couriers turned out be be a rip off too. I went in to pay for the collection and all of a sudden they do it by volume. £167.

Winner in the Aberdeen Area is Freightco. £100. They put the stuff on a pallet and will be delivered next day. Hopefully it's big enough that they can't lose it LOL!
