Julian WRX MY93 Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 how long do those broquets things last in the petrol tank of a P1??? can you get replacement ones, or do you just use a different additive in the petrol? has anyone found this out yet?????? i remember asking this last year and no body knew at the time..........
paul n Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 has anyone found this out yet?????? Used to fit them in the Saab Turbo's years ago, when leaded petrol was phased out, Saab reconed they would last 250,000 miles , just searched the P1WOC site and got the same answer []

moneys Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 im hearing bad rumours of a change of manufactorer come on out of hiding jak
PinkTurboGirl Posted March 4, 2006 Author Posted March 4, 2006 Ive crawled out from under my rock....[:$] The pink one is sold, yes. I havnt found a replacement as yet, but it wont be a P1[] After a lot of agonising and research, ant and myself have decided it would be too much of a risk to plough all of our spare cash into a car that has a history of blowing up. At the end of the day, its a big gamble to take and tbh i havnt got a spare 3k in the bank for a re-build. I am looking at a few options, yes and a change of manufacturer is possible, unless i can find what i am looking for in a scoob. I would like a white sti, 03 but hard to find, or a yellow evo[] I will keep you all upto date with my journey in finding my new baby![]
blue boy Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Don't like the sound od a change of manufacturer Girl![]
PinkTurboGirl Posted March 4, 2006 Author Posted March 4, 2006 Hopefully not, Bob! It all depends if I can find what I'm looking for in a scooby. My car will be going in approx 10 days, i cant be without a car for too long, so need to find a replacement sooner rather than later![] But dont worry just yet, i havnt found either a yellow evo or a white sti yet!
