just finished washing my05 sti import and noticed rust stains on my rear prodrive mudflaps,car was undersealed last september.just wondering if anybody else has had the same problem,ps no rust stains on the front ones

Is it just now rust from the screws/ brackets that hold the flaps on???

My Scott Lowe flaps suffer from the same - crappy looking corrosion of the brackets and bolts.  Does not clean up well.

I'd asked Scott about this about a year ago. Asking if some hammerite might be an idea, but he didn't recommend it.
