Well chaps and chappettes it was a blooming cold and foggy day but all in it was a good day to meet some of the southern crew and believe it or not scottish crew as well, Gumball from the Scots lot drove down met up with Warbs and then down to Aylesbury.

My car 242bhp....not bad for 3 mods.

Paul N 303bhp

Pete made over the three hundred mark but looks like he got some duff fuel so had a detonation problem so couldnt complete the run, he would have been in the top 5 runs if not.

Chris (Guball) had the same problem and made 350 before stopping, he should have made 400 and had filled up with the same fuel as Pete.

But all in a thouroughly good day had by all.

Steve,

Good to meet you yesterday. It was a good day. when i first arrived i thought "am i mad?what am i doing near London" but i soon realised that i had done the right thing and enjoyed my weekend loads.

The car seemed to blast out the nasty fuel by Birmingham but then i had a couple of moments near Stoke again, I think now its all gone and my car is running again properly. Just bad luck really.

I will trawl the threads from now on and see when my next trip over the border will be. cant wait

Only Pete saw that so i can only assume it was him that told you.

Maybe im a big fish in a small pond but porsches, ferraris, M3 and evo's are all fuel for the fire BUT.........today i was physically removed from the outside lane by a s****y looking new M5[:$]

LOL

we got the fuel in Keele services on the way down. i filled up with the exact same stuff at the exact same tank last week. maybe that made the situation even worse? when i got there saturday i remember thinking "this is the same pump i used 7 days ago"

i think i will need to take the 20g out and get a 500rated garrett incase i meet an M5 again

im not sure mate tbh. i think you can get it from any decent scoob performance place. I never needed it cos i got decatted and mapped straight after it. somewhere like g force or whatever down your way will get it for you.

OR perfect excuse to get a bigger turbo, change the headers and get GEMS[6]
