SCOOBYTOO Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 OK FOLKS! For all those people coming to Hastings on Sunday 19th February, we will be meeting at Nottcuts Bearsted Maidstone from... 10 am onwards leaving there at 10.30 am PROMPT. There are plenty of pubs/fish 'n chip shops and restaurants in Hastings so we can do our own thing when we get there. On the way home we can always pop into one of the local pups for a shandy.[D] If anyone has a problem on that morning give me a ring on my mobile........... 07771 624800. see you there!! [] DEAN
baser999 Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Looks like a decent turnout - lets hope the weathers at least dry [] Maybe get a few more at the Wharf on the Friday .
SCOOBYTOO Posted February 11, 2006 Author Posted February 11, 2006 7 days to go[O] hopefully you are all aware of the richard burns relay in may, all funds raised going to cancer research uk. i have had a suggestion put to me today that all those going to hastings on sunday if they wish to, donate £5 per car to start the fund raising going. i will also be taking names for the actual relay day for those who would like to participate so i can forward numbers onto the organisers who will be ordering the r b official relay car stickers. thank you every one in advance for your support.

krud Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 Hi Dean As posted on Sussex Scoobies, I doubt whether this is feasible for us to make this. Family members have turned lunchtime into a full blown family reunion, and the table is booked for 1pm. By the time I get to Hastings it will be dark and you'll probably be going home. Anyway, I hope to catch up with you at some other time (maybe someone is coming to our Gatwick Open Day on the Saturday?)........................OR........................ Perhaps a joint event for the RB fundraising?????????? Keith
