stephen_fergus Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Don't know if it's been mentioned before , but watch yerself on the M8 West-bound just after the Arkleston/Paisley turnoff .. there's lots of new white speed- camera markings where it drops from a 70 to a 60 [:@] Recon it's gonna be a van-job on the Arkleston Rd flyover.. Seems to me a bit of a cash-cow for the government as it's hardly a danger area [:@]..well maybe for low-flying seagulls! Steve
AlanG Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 There's roadworks on both carriageways on the bridge for the next three months starting on Friday with a 40mph speed limit. Think the camera(s) will be there to ensure speed is kept down.
G.Mac Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 Yea, I noticed these yesterday, nearly shat myself joining the motorway at bout 80ish to be confronted with the speed trap lines
st3ph3n Posted February 8, 2006 Posted February 8, 2006 I don't think there are any fixed Gatsos operating on the Scottish Motorways during normal conditions. There's plenty of lines on roads where temporary ones were located during roadworks which will inevitably cause at least 2 accidents after the roadworks are finished because people still think they're working.
terminator Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Aye, everytime i see a set of lines in the road i keek ma kecks, hit the hammers and end up gettin nearly bumped. Would b ok if it was a chick n i got her insurance details for a meet later to show her the fabric on the back seats.[]
