col666 Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Done a search but found nowt[] Want to get rid of the nasty orange wedges below the indicators. How do they come out? or do they?!, whats the best paint to use on them and should i key them first? dont want the paint to start flaking off. And finally, what colour do you think? I fancy silver but black was also suggested. Col.
ally-b Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 They prise out quite easily , they click in place with the flex of the plastic material holding them in - bend the edges inward slightly to remove them . I used satin black (hammerite smooth I think )which I brushed on after degreasing . Finish is still OK after 6 months . It matches the grill and looks much better than before . here it is , boggin at Glenshee Al.
col666 Posted February 7, 2006 Author Posted February 7, 2006 Will give that a try, cheers ally[] Col.
