Not seen the Herald yet but the "Motoring Correspondent" of my local chip wrapper done a wee piece on the MY06 WRX a couple of weeks ago.

Basically a review of his Test Drive which took him over to the East Coast ( not specific which part the East Coast though ) for a day. Not much to the article which really seemed to be only a regurgitation of the marketing blurb ( 2.5 Turbo / 225 BHP / 0-60 Range of models available, WRX versus STi yadda yadda yadda ) and saying that the format of the car was a bit dated (??????)

No comparison against previous models. No comments on the difference the bigger lump makes to torque etc etc. Money for old rope if you ask me. I cuold do that.

BUT ..... the wee bit at the end of his journal said something along the lines of, that every time he passed another Scooby he got a wee wave or a blip of the lights and that put a smile on his face.

So hats off to all you East Coast crew who might have waved a Journo out on a Test Drive !!
