pornodan Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 hi all have recently recieved some new headlights and sidelight bulbs. i have fitting headlights but cant seem to work out how to get to sidelightbulbs .i removed screw that joins to headlight but is there another screw under the bumper or somewhere else?
baser999 Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Don't know what you're driving but I had to replace a bulb in the sidelight on my 2000 classic - the one with rectangular lamps-and from memory there weren't any screws - the corner unit just pushed in / out. Must confess that it was a real pain in the butt as I really wanted to get a screwdriver to it and prise it in / out but you can't for fear of breaking the lens or scratching the paintwork. No doubt Deano666 will pick up on the thread and let you have a proper answer
pornodan Posted January 17, 2006 Author Posted January 17, 2006 sorry mate forgot to put that in. its a 95 classic. cheers
dirtmonkey Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 on my 99 there is a philips screw on top of the main headlamp, remove that, and pull the side light towards u, they r on plastic plugs that that push into the body. i think yours is prob the same. hope this helps m8
