The usual thrills and spills today at Crail, great weather too!

After a long lie I got there at the wrong time, right before the 2 hour lunch break [;)] Saw you passing a couple of times Zeolite but you looked busy!  Guess who was at the front of the queue for burgers when I arrived?! A certain 400bhp blobeye owner and his sidekick with a shiny new engine!

Some good action on-track, the bit near the start where the 2 lanes met got a bit hairy at times, I made a point of standing behind a huge steel post incase anybody got it wrong[:D] A 205 driver did get it wrong though and got a bit too close for comfort rolling completely back onto his wheels right on front of me!

Had a very busy day due to lack of marshals! There were only enough to do the timing and the bare minimum. We arrived late and up to that point the rally was in danger of not running. So I was on flying finish all day and pretty busy so apologies to Chris and Callum for not being able to give them more attention. I was also in front of the section where the tarmac was getting ripped up.

Superb day though and lots of damage including one forum member.

What happened Corsa?

We, Green Corsa (number 16) had to retire on stage 3 with a broken diff after having a coming together with the Redpath tyres scooby.

He cut in on us and hit the front wheel while on full lock, and knocked the shaft right into the diff.

Will have it stripped on sunday to see the damage.

Great day until then as we were leading the class by a country mile and 10th overall!!!!!

Good to see chris and callum made the effort to come up and support  and sorry i never caught up with ya Ian.

Yes it was great to finally get up and see what goes on at crail sans burberry brigade.

Col nice to look at your car, Dave sorry to hear about the diff but thats what happens when you mess with the star cluster;)

Uncle Zeolite was looking like the mad doctor from back to the future pushing buttons on his time machine and shouting obscenities with his wanted man stubble.

And we got a row for wandering about the grass when a race was on.

Just stripped the caqr and found it is the crown wheel and pinion, the diff and box appear to be ok but we will have them checked over as a precautionary measure anyway.

The new bumper, wing and headlamp will be ordered tommorrow and all will hopefully be back in 1 peice by next weekend.
