But i think its the stay thing coz when you open the door it rests open in notches at a couple of points, im sure some bugger that is in the know will shed some light on it . nicostar Posted January 12, 2006 Share Posted January 12, 2006 hi seevers , the part you are talking about is called the check strap , try spraying it with wd40 or put some grease on it if that doesn't help it will need replaced if the door is closing properly and hasn't dropped your hinge pins should be ok hope this helps mate Link to comment

It's not hit anything...the door closes fine...and it's not dropped. Like i said above,i'll take the door card off at w/e and give it a bit of lubrication,hopefully be just crap in it like Col says.
