craig mac Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Folks As we can all see what a great job they are doing down central belt to bring a smile to the kids faces at xmas They have been doing it for a few years now and it looks like a great thing I can not believe that Aberdeen of all places do not have this as well Well lets get it bloody sorted, there is no nicer feeling than watching a child opening a gift, no matter how big or small. I will be willing to do all the ground work and get this one off the ground and i am sure there are plenty others will help So Aberdeen and the North east why not? I know its a little late for this year but lets agree to get it going next year at least Craig
Iaing Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Craig, I posted up about this a month a go, got no interest. Poor show, however it has been left to the last minute. I'd be up for it but im on holiday for a week as of Wed Probably better to plan for 2006 Santa Cruise to be honest. Iain

johns Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 I've simply not had time to get anything like this organised this year. However, we can start planning for next year. John
craig mac Posted December 12, 2005 Author Posted December 12, 2005 John Cool, Let me know what i can do and lets get it rolling for next year Craig
phil Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Craig, Take this on mate its a wonderful feeling Speak to the Scottish Lads and the Southern guys who did the organising this year they will offer helpful advice Remember you don't need lots of people to get one of these under way There is only ONE Santa [ how he got between Reading and Scotland on Sunday proves he drives a Scooby ] Find a suitable recipitant [Local hospice, Hospital or CHildrens Home] A little collection of presents[speak to the home because they may give you some guidance on pressies, beleive it or not cuddly toys are usually not the best idea for some children] at meets and cash donations Set a date don't forget to speak to Santa to make sure he is available WATCH THOSE FACES LIGHT UP
