went to fuel up my car this afternoon and was having a nice wee drive home in time to pick up my daughter from school , and my car decieded to chew somthin in the transmission . managed to limp it home now im having to pull out my hair dealing with the garage to come pick it up and fix it.

only had it 6 weeks and done 1300 miles gutted

my wifes got a 1.1 saxo so im used to driving horrible underpowered cars aswell, ive had a few moments in it though better not say to much incase she reads this thread

its away back to pheonix where i bought it from they d honda and mitsibishi mainly

its covered by warranty and seeing as ive had it 6 weeks he was told under no circumstances was i puttin my hand in my pocket for anything

was quite amazed i never even swore at him

the dealer has been quite cool about it so far but if he does start being wierd about it , i have a secret weapon up my sleeve.

Could have done with her 4 months ago!! My dealer made a complete joke out of the extended warranty I'd paid for and have in the process put me off buying a new Subaru for life. Silly move!!

hee hee got my courtesy corsa too , 1.2 breeze to be exact

was having a righ good laugh at the guy who gave me it telling me how i would be better off with the micra as it had a 1.4 enine instead of a 1.2 80bhp instead of the corsas 65 bhp

i have and will be sticking to ruby the scoobys motto wich is drive it like you stole it 1.2 was still good for a ton on the way to work today

Your lucky!! Ive got a 1.4 vw polo hire car from the garage as my cars off the road the now and its the worst thing ive ever driven! hits 80 with a push nousy as hell and rolls round corners!

lol andy , im missing my scoob like feck already. phoned the garage earlier said he wont be able to look at it till monday but still managed to see if i was talkin piddle and take it for a road test , wouldnt think he would have got very far to see there was somthin majorly wrong. garages dont you just hate them

I was so fed up with the service ive been getting i went to the M.D of the J M Group today and told him what i thought. Soon had the garage manager on the phone appologising

its just a case of shouting loud enough andy , im not much good at it though i loose the plot too easily but the mrs is a pro years of working at the airport getting dogs abuse from passengers i guess, last time i had to get a courtesy car the insurance company tried it on with a daewoo matiz ended up with an astra sri not bad eh all her own work too
