irish al Posted December 17, 2005 Author Posted December 17, 2005 On the graph the torque peaks arround 3600 revs. Can anyone explain why it then drops at 4000 to 290lbft, then rises againg at 4500 to arround 295 lbft. After this it falls steadily.
Bing Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 No, but it ive seen it on std torque curves and also on mapped cars, remember the torque and BHP cross at 5252 rpm Sorry
wilky Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 I could pass comment but I have no TD04 real time experience so its only what Ive read so not based on experience, Im sure Andy or the Squirrel will be able to say for sure. Callum W

This doesn't happen the same on the road as when the power rises the car starts to accelerate harder, on the rollers it is held back regardles of power, hence the boost (read torque) spike. Andy
