paulc555 Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Does anyone know if disconnecting the battery will stop my toad alarm going of....wife cleared of with key and left car at work but alarm is going of and i believe wont reset until i put the key in the ignition which i dont have...her security men are going ape..at the noise.... shes not due back until tom with the key.......arghhh cant find the spare either...double arghhhh at home daughter with chicken pox..... cant get to car...how can i shut the alarm up when i do get there??
johns Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 It might carry on for an hour or two if it has a built in battery backup, but it will get progressivly quieter as it dies down. Might be worth disconnecting the battery, and then wrapping the alarm in a few towels to keep the noise levels to an acceptable level. John
