kipper Posted June 15, 2003 Posted June 15, 2003 I am helping the Racewars boys sort out a day at crail areodrom as im a local......the weekend will be a replica of the famous one in america as seen in the Fast and the furios movie. If it goes ahead how many of you would be intersted in a wee trip to the east coast for a full weekend of racing and lager........if you want to bring a caravan then a field maybe avalible. Come on lads....the price will be about 30 qiud per car for everything and about 10 quid for your love shack

kipper Posted June 17, 2003 Author Posted June 17, 2003 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our first event at Avon raceway was cancelled due to an accident in the track but i have now organised a new venue at Crail in Scotland The dates I have are September sat 13th and sun 14th but this is pending confirmation from Crail Ticket prices are as follows For our exclusive hire on the sat tickets are £20 for all day saturday only( members) £25 non members and £29 for sat and sun(members) £35 non members with an overnight camp. (per car not per person) Event to include 1/4 mile drag, drifting oval, show and shine and on the sunday we join in with crails own 1/4 mile event There will be Food and beer tents so thats me happy Im looking at giving away prizes at the event for best looking car (3 judges) And a possible prize for the quater mile side of things. Were getting sponsors and other nice things there. We have confirmation from crail of the dates we need 150+ cars in attendance so get all your mates on our site and forums, Tickets are on sale now so if you would like to order yours now Place your name and how many tickets you want (member or non member) Then ill contact the person who posted it about payment details Crail are charging the public access on the sunday @ a rate of £7 per person and £15 per car on the track. so if you bring 3 people with you on the sunday you will have to pay £43 You can see how much you save by getting a ticket with race wars so book yours now !!!! you can book your tickets by joining racewars at and post a message for animalzilla or email him at racewars.ntlworld.com if you mention that you are a valid sidc memeber you will get the member's discount..... This will be the biggest event of the year in crail.....you do not what to miss it racewars
