My say

Regarding all the recent childish behaviour :

1. SLF. (scooby liberation front ) started by myself "FOR A LAUGH" a year ago when R.O's never existed and we were getting zero support from the club.

If my sense of humour differs to others about this topic then I appologise , but at the time it rattled a few cages and made me laugh. Again if anyone was offended I appologise .

2. Opinions. My opinion may differ to others regarding various issues especially regarding "Car Shows" but it is my opinion and i feel strongly that SIDC should have an attendance at Crail , Knockhill, Fast and modified etc., but because this goes against the grain of certain members I am slated and had many a hasstle on various threads regarding these topics.

3. The Cleaks. Ive been to all the Ayrshire meets and alot of Glasgow meets as well . Did't really notice any problems and most of you seemed friendly at the first point of contact. At one meet (chaired by Willky) everyone was introduced and the ice was broken -maybe something to try again face-icon-small-wink.gif

I hope this helps those who don't know me and those who do know me understand where I sometimes come from . If at anytime you or others have been offended then i appologise.I joined the sidc for the scoobs not all this hasstle and downright hatred . Agree to differ shake hands and move on . Thats my last words on all this crap .

heres the way it needs to happen. in smaller areas, perhaps where theres a local community spirit and not too many members its probably not needed.

as for the larger meets where there a vast amount of people like that meeting in Hillington as an example this should happen.

1. We appear and try not to sit in the same group as last time (what have we got to loose)?

2. We each stand up and say..."hi, im..X... and i have a ....X......with ........ X..mods/none.....and live in....X...NICE TO MEET YOU

3. The senior member at the meet whether that be the senior member or the RO stands up and addresses the members and thanks them for coming and also adds some value to the meeting such as...

were going to do this

weve recently done that

what do you think about this

etc etc

4. We all get on like a house on fire and talk amongst ourselves before dispersing with new mates moving forward.

5. We make more of an effort to go to other meets, to meet other people and get out our comfort zones.

ok, im tired of typing now. lets turn over a new leaf and stop being closets. as wilky says "were all humping the same goat"

If we're having our say then I find what you said to Dougster entirely unacceptable Big Andy. In my opinion of course. Light hearted joshing is one thing, but that was above and beyond, in my opinion.

Other than that what you say is good.

This brings a smile to heart and a tear to my face. Or something. If only the Israelis and the Palestinians could be more like you.
