sean_macphee Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Thinking of selling my STI4 type R Impreza. Its was registered in July 1998 and is on an 'R' plate, it was imported brand new by its only previous owner. The car has covered 61,000 miles with FSH, just serviced this week by Glenburgie Subaru. I have always run it on Optimax and NF race, and in my ownership has never been on a track on 1/4 mile strip. The car is standard type R spec with a few mods: Engine wise: GGR remapped ECU, Magnex d/pipe, centre section and Blitz Nur Spec b/box, K&N induction kit, Blitz turbo timer Suspension: Standard STI dampers with GGR lowering springs Wheels: at the moment it has a set of 18" Kahn RS-R alloys with Toyo T1-S tyres on it. Although I also have a set of 17" Prodrive OZ P1-WRC alloys with Goodyear Eagle F1's. Brakes: fronts are AP Racing 330mm 4 pot - as mentioned earlier have recently been stripped down with new seals in the calipers and new discs and pads. Rears are standard. Bodywork: Morrette twin headlight conversion, clear idicators etc, STI5 front bumper and grille, STI mudflaps, PIAA driving lamps Interior: GGR gauges (boost, voltage and oil pressure), STI pedals and mats, Pioneer headunit and 6 disc changer. The car was featured back in Jan/Feb '01 in Japanese Performance magazine by its previous owner. I'm not sure how to post pics so see the pistonheads ad.... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/56446.htm I can be contacted on 07793 215016 if anyone has any questions (please leave a message if I am unavailable as I work offshore/abroad). Cheers Sean

sean_macphee Posted November 11, 2005 Author Posted November 11, 2005 Cheers lads. Still in two minds whether or not to sell it, be sad to see it go...
Fee Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I've sent a link to adam...said that he could buy it and we could be twins!!! hehe nice car
dan_jess Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Sounds like u dont really want to sell it, do u just fancy a change?
sean_macphee Posted November 12, 2005 Author Posted November 12, 2005 Aye a wee bit reluctant to sell it, had it a few years and spent a few ££'s on it! Change in circumstances mean I should probably get something a bit newer, planning on staying with Subaru's though. Will see, have got to sell this one first!
sean_macphee Posted December 8, 2005 Author Posted December 8, 2005 I'm abroad working just now but am heading home on Saturday. Would like to sell car as I need a Spec C. Offers around £10k?? Cheers Sean
st3ph3n Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 You don't NEED a spec c. Actually, we all do. Lovely car sean.
sean_macphee Posted December 8, 2005 Author Posted December 8, 2005 Cheers St3ph3n, I've got it in my head that a Spec C is the way to go. Once something like that happens it takes a lot to change my mind!
