being new to the area can anyone tell me who's good and who to avoid?

drove past checkpoint yesterday and the had some jap machinery and a large tein sticker on their window... they any good?

looking to get windows tinted (had enough of these bloody X5, audi and other aresholes tailgating me on A90 with they daft bright blinding lights)

also needing some tein or other coilovers supplied and properly set up

who can do that sort of thing in the aberdeen area

Yeah Wallace performance can set up your coilovers. As for Checkpoint...im not sure but i think these guys just fit alarms and ICE in there workshop.

As for the road works....I think they have just under 2 weeks still to go. Take the netherly road, skips the roadworks and you end up at stonehaven

I've had an induction kit and a clutch from Checkpoint, both fitted. I have always been happy with there service. Kenny is the guy I have always dealt with. They can provide an awful lot more than just alarms and ICE. If you ask, they can usually get. I got my windows done at Tinthaus, and again was very happy with them. When one started to peel after a year, they refitted for free (came and collected my car from my work, and brought it back when complete (that's good service)). For other stuff, I prefer to head up to Glenburgie, just outside Forres. They have an awesome new workshop, well woth a visit. Not used Wallace Performance, but always here good things about them. Hope this helps.
