.. which ones will be the best for fast road and the occasional track day and occasional fast scooby run.

Was a bit scary yesterday when the black diamond predators gave up after 2 or 3 laps face-icon-small-blush.gif

Meant to add that the discs are drilled and grooved EBC's

Pagid RS 4.2.1 or (slightly cheaper) Ferrodo DS2500 as sworn in by many many peop,e on here. Cheaper again are Mintex but they don't seem to last as long and are a bit dustier, apparently.

I doubt anywhere would beat Alyn @ A S Performance for this stuff. He done a great deal - quick delivery and great customer service. They are a rally specialist. Give him a phone - he'll discount for SIDC members too.

His advice was spot on!

Meant to add - expect to pay between £120 - £140 for the pads for the front, cheaper for the rear, and if you have not already done so - fit Goodridge Stainless Braided Brake lines and Motul 5.1 fluid- he'll supply them too for pennies.

have had mintex 1155 pads on mine and they are good, but definitely dont last too long if you are going on the track, know a couple of folk with P1s and a WR1 and they are all swearing by Ferodos, so they are the next ones to try mate....

I'm using a set of Red Stuff on mine at the moment. No complaints. You wouldn't want to emergency stop them without giving them a bit of a warmup I suppose, but they certainly worked quite nicely on the track. I know Gumball had trouble with Warped EBC discs, but I'm just using the standard subaru ones at the moment.

The pads survived a full track day and a half track day, as well as a few thousand miles on the road as well, and there's still enough left for a month or two on the road I'd think.

But then I'm not running a squillion horse power like some of you are.

I'm very happy with my Ferrodo DS2500's , the squeel a wee bit when cold but work well when cold and they dont fade as quickly as the standard pad.
