tom_paxton Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 I was eager to check the MY06, as I decided not to wait for one (company car, when it's time to change, I'm always desparate to get something new). Kind of regretting it as I like the look of the 06, and also the idea of a little more power and torque. However fuel economy is down and emissions up, so if I had waited it would be costing me another £60 a month in fuel and tax! Not so bad that I jumped the gun after all.
jcscoob Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Thats only £2 per day !! you would be lucky if you can get a hot roll for that... Just my veiw on it
Gumball Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 company car tax? ask your work to get you a 2006 sti and put company logos on it bingo.... no company car tax Chris
st3ph3n Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 You want a real con like what my cousin has. He has a works "van". It just so happens that said van is a pickup truck fitted with an 8.3 litre V10 that will keep up with an STI 0-60 more than comfortably. Feck all Tax and no VAT. Not so good on the old petrol though.
McFlash Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 Given how slow you drive these days 575, the extra torque and power wouldn't have benefited you much anyway - LOL.
tom_paxton Posted October 22, 2005 Author Posted October 22, 2005 << Given how slow you drive these days 575, the extra torque and power wouldn't have benefited you much anyway - LOL. >> Yeah, very funny McFlash. Now off you go and give your car a drink of oil, before it dries out on you!
McFlash Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 I'll give you the benefit of the doubt 575, it's probably not you - its more likely to be that huge ass (boot) that slows your car down.....!
