FastScooby Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Was going to order some tein springs for my WRX 164.50 supplied.. are these good for my scooby and will i have to change my shockies or will standard ones be fine busted the 57i kit on friday just before i was leaving to go on holiday so a new one will be here on Thursday
gus the bus Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 I've got them fitted on my WRX300 mate (a week ago). They lower the front by 35mm and rear by 25mm. Was advised that anything lower would "bottom out" the shockers. If you do get them on get the Geometry reset (Prodrive settings!) just got mine done on Friday and it makes one hell of a difference. A got the Springs from Duncan @ Hypertech and Geometry done by Progrip (just down from Hypertech) both in Bonnybridge near Fawkirk. Gus
sma01 Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 teins are very good mate, dunc @ hypertech fitted tein coilovers to mine a couple of months ago and the handling is much better, he has fitted quite a few sets of tein springs now and everyone seems to be happy with them. Give him a phone on 01324 812212 and he will sort you out Scott
