SCOOBYTOO Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 received this from scoobycity tonight...have a read if you still havent got your name down see one of the above posts for the link.. It will soon be upon us again and with the success of previous years events we have decided to do it again. The date is 18th November 2005. It will take the same format as previous years, starting at Makro car park in Norwich for approx 7am, convoying through Norwich and finishing where the BBC are holding their outside broadcast where myself and Tiny from the Essex crew will be interviewed on live TV. We have a police convoy confirmed with an unmarked Impreza at the front and fully marked up Evo at the back. They will guide us through the city to where we have been given special permission to park on the normally pedestrianised Gentleman's Walk. As usual the Essex Scooby Crew will be giving us their full support so we are planning a massive convoy to Macro's with the following meeting points. A12 Chelmsford, Boreham Interchange Meeting approx 5pm A12/A14 Ipswich Tesco Services (near ToysRus) meeting approx 5.30pm And finally at Macro's Norwich from 6.30 onwards leaving just after 7pm. To raise money, entry will be £5 per car but we urge you to add to this by printing off the sponsor form (below) and having a whip round your work colleges, friends and family. Sponsor forms are available for download here..... http://www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey/fundraising/do...ponsor_form.pdf We've had up to 70 cars attend this in previous years and raised over £1500 so if you're up for smashing last years total come along and join us on what is guaranteed to be an incredible night. Oh and make sure your cars are looking their best as this will be in all the magazines and possibly TV. Disscusion and more details on this event can be found here http://www.scoobycity.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16220 I must also tell you about a very special raffle we are running to help us raise even more money.
