needing an engine is anybody knows where there is one sitting lads

my mate came up for a bit sport yesterday and run his big end trying to keep up with my old my95 wrx hahahah

he requires an engine for a s-plate uk model...can anyone tell me what engines will be compatible

form what i have heard any of the ej20 motors will do the job as long as he uses his inlet manifolds ets...then goes for remap...but i aint no expert!!!....any advice would be greatly appreciated lads
