Iaing Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 I was thinking about getting those too. I think they'd look really good on a newage Iain
mazheriqbal_mohammed Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 Yeah them wheels look pretty sweet! I would make sure that they give you some decent tyres with them mind
clutdav Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 Craig, The only thing to be careful about is that the 05 STi has different stud pattern or offset (I can't remember which) to the previous 54 model STi. I found this out when considering the Prodrive PFF-7's as they didn't have any of the new alloys in stock. So make sure that any wheel you purchase is the correct 05 fitment. Just a heads up for ya. Dave
craig mac Posted October 3, 2005 Author Posted October 3, 2005 Dave Yeah its the PCD mate I emailed them the full details with the pcd etc and they came back with these as well as other Tarmac 2 rims. Will drop them a line to conifrm pcd and offset etc before i go ahead and buy. Thank you Craig
clutdav Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 Nae probs Craig - I got caught out so I thought I would just give you a heads up. By the way the alloys look good. I think these also look brill......... Kahn RS-V's Lenso RS-5's OZ Galileo III's OZ Superleggera III Forged I couldn't help myself. Dave
craig mac Posted October 3, 2005 Author Posted October 3, 2005 Dave Pity none of them fit with the Brembos though Still very limited what you can get to fit with them Craig
clutdav Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 << Dave Pity none of them fit with the Brembos though Still very limited what you can get to fit with them Craig >> Really!!! Surely a 8x18" alloy will clear the Brembos? Doesn't it! Dave
craig mac Posted October 3, 2005 Author Posted October 3, 2005 Dave No! look at yours later and see how close the back of legs are on your car to the actual caliper There is like 3 mm of clearance You have to watch the spoke pattern am afraid, Johns gave me a few pointers on Scoobynet a few weeks ago. Craig Johns Help re Rims
oobster Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 Yea those are nice wheels craig.... what colour of car do you have? I'm just asking coz i considered the KEI Force 8 alloys before i went for the Force 10's. The Force 8's are a nice wheel, and might even look smart in Hyperblack depending on what colour car you got. Skidz in Falkirk done me a cracking deal for mine.
craig mac Posted October 3, 2005 Author Posted October 3, 2005 Oobster Its WRBlue Will give them a looksi as well Craig
