<< Did you damage a wheel Ally? >>

well not exactly peter ...... my wheels had a couple of slight scuffs on them when i bought the car ( nothing major )

there was a slight incident with my wheels leaving the glasgow meet tonight face-icon-small-sad.gif ---

to be honest my alloys escaped with very little damage, just a small graze .......... tyre took it tight though ( nice BIG chunk out of the sidewall !!! )

just thought that i may as well get them done & return them to a pristine condition.

There's a place in Plains near Airdrie that does them, but i spoke to someone on the phone from there and they didnt inspire me with confidence.

I've got an alloy up at Coatech in Carnoustie just now getting repaired, i'll let you know the quality of the finish when i get it back (must remember to phone them & find out where it is)

I'm going to drop off a set of Compos next week @ Autoimage in Edinburgh. About £140 all in. Having said that depends on the finish your looknig for. A basic powdercoat job for a good price.

Maybe we could get a deal on x2 sets!

The one in plains did a set of rsr khans for me and put them in my car without any packaging, when i got home the wheels were all marked and when i called to complain, the answer was to return them and pay more to have them repaired, also the finish is not that great.Use esp powder coating in glasgow, there no is in every free motor trader you pick up in all petrol fourcourts. The guy will spend

forever trying to match it if it is an awkward coating like shadow chrome. face-icon-small-wink.gif
