just a quick note to introduce myself

my names juan (hence the username) and my fiancee helen

we are just about to take possesion of a 1995 wrx sport wagon, our first scooby

as i always fancied having one,but didn't know they came with auto box, found out through various importers that they were also cheaper to buy, also as i have a auto licence (due to bike accident), so was very happy to learn i could get one as well. we are based in ramsgate, and hope to meet you at following meets, also looking forward to the jap show at sandown this sept.

Welcome . . . . I'm a scooby virgin myself having bought mine in June just before my mid-life crisis! Well I'd got shot of the wife some years ago and shes since remarried and 3 of my sons are now working so there's only the usual stuff such as mortgage , food , drinking to worry about. So what the hell, I thought I'd indulge myself and buy a proper motor Haven't been disappointed. Went to last Fridays run down to Herne Bay although apart from the 'local massive' in their corsas and novas the place seemed to be shut ; but hey it was 9.30pm!! Try to get along to a club meet sometime.

Welcome to the club mate , the auto's are actually faster in a straight line than a manual

A good friend had one and it went like a rocket and that was standard with 280bhp, shame he never modded it a little more
