Best place for mot in Edinburgh?

Anyone know where i can put my classic into to get its mot?

Meadowbank area preferred so i can get it done while i'm working.

There is a guy in Leith who does work for Mackay Trading - I think it is called Logans or something - Kye Mackay would tell u no doubt. It's in one of the streets off to the right as u go down Leith Walk - pretty much near the bottom but before the entrance to Scotmid car park. The owner has an Evo so he knows Jap cars too.

For my last MOT I used Kwik Fit and it passed no problem and they were careful with my alloys etc so can't complain

Yeah know the one you mean. Kenny logan's garage i think. my mate used to work for him.

I've got budget just along the road from me so might just pop it in there if the likes of kwik fit ect. are ok.

I know of a garage in Glasgow that go very "by the book" for MOT's (ie very lenient if you read the book correctly), it's called Mercedes Benz of Glasgow. Ask for one specific MOT Tester by the name of Craig

Dont laugh but you could put it into Budget near there

My (ex) father-in-law works here and he will give you a fair MOT, I still go there to get mine done. He does everything by the book, this means you wont get off with anything but then he wont tell you something is wrong when it aint. Can PM me for his name.
