Bing Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Does anyone out there know if a bugeye WRX would normally pass an MOT with just the link pipe put back in (i.e 2nd cat only)? Ive currently only got 1 CAT in and its in the up pipe. Also..... Can anyone confirm that the timoing belt on the new age model should be replaced at 60k or 4 years. If so, the issue I have is that the car is nearly 4 years old but has only done 37k
Mako Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Not too sure on the mot question. If I remember correctly it will struggle to pass the emmisions with just the 2nd cat in place. Timing belt should be replaced on a bugeye wrx at 50k or 5 years. 10k servicing intervals so 50k or 5 yrs. So you should be ok for another year Bing. Russ
