angela_melling Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 Hi, Sorry if this has been asked in the past, (I'm sure it must have been). I've looked through the other posts and can't find details of anywhere in NW England. Help?

angela_melling Posted August 11, 2005 Author Posted August 11, 2005 Hi Yes STISEVEN, female ..... should that affect my discount ;-) Right Blue Boy, profile enabled! I live near Whitegate, about 4 miles from Winsford, and work just outside Warrington.
chrisp Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Welcome and to answer your question http://www.sidc.co.uk/article/default.asp?art_id=119
angela_melling Posted August 11, 2005 Author Posted August 11, 2005 Yes, I intend to come along to a meet, although I'm already a little nervous that my bog standard WRX 5 door will be picked on for being the weakling of the group. btw, running in... - should I? - and who's advice should I take?
rasher Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 - should I? IMHO yes, 1000 miles at less than 4000rpm and do not do the same speed continuosly (like on a motorway) vary it a little. Then it is time for the first oil service. I personally ran it for another 500 miles at no more than 5000 rpm. Then at 1500 miles I ran it for no more than 6000rpm. Then at 2000 miles I spanked it!! I am probably being a little over cautious after the first 1000 miles but that is just me. - and who's advice should I take? ours
blue boy Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 << Then at 2000 miles I spanked it!! >> And hasn't stopped since................. eh Nige!!!!!! Angela, You'd be most welcome at a CADS Meet suggest you look in the CADS Forum Section. Email me @ rome26@blueyonder.co.uk and I'll email you maps, directions and info. Bob

blue boy Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 << 40,000 miles >> !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm talking about the Scoob Nige not your other car!
rasher Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 my flower power limited edition you see pictured has actually done 51,000 miles and is show winning condition as you can see. It is number 74,541 out of a production run of 121,000. At last count there were only 23,126 in the country, so I am expecting values to increase as the years pass on
