best place to get an oil leak checked out or sorted??

as above, can you chaps recommend a place ( hopefully in scotland!! ) to do the above for me.

leak untill recently was very slight but has become worse. Leak seems to be coming from around the oil filter, would be nice if it was the filter itself but knowing my luck it will be a bl00dy cam idler or worse.

so if you have had similar probs yourself id appreciate a bit of advice.

Could be crank oil seal (on the oil pump), other possibilities are sump or rocket gasket.

Get it up on a ramp, clean the area with some rags then start her up, then look carefully in the area with a lamp to hopefully see the offending leak. I hope its that easy to spot William.

hi m8 i had the same prob with my97 turbo wagon.

We took our car to greer sport and they fixed everything the list included the two rear gudgeon pin seals and a few seals in the oil pump, the two front gudgeon pin seals and also the crankshaft oil seal. This stopped our leak and they resealed the sump just to be on the safe side!!! If you want their number pm me and ill pm you their number. Top quality service and no oil leak now after all that work.

ps the both rocker cover gaskets was changed and the spark plug hole seals.
