martyn_slorach Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 hi everyone, I have a rb5 with a standard exhaust on it and i am considering getting a custom made powerflow exhaust from the downpipe back, removing one cat, has anyone done similar? should i just get a straight pipe right to the back box and will i notice any bhp improvements? cheers in advance for any info. martyn
Iaing Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Have done exactly that on my 02 wrx. Did it in 2 stages, got the backbox done first, did get an increase in power , maybe 10bhp or so. 2nd stage was to de-cat it after the down pipe to the backbox. Made more of an increase in power, more noticable and more noise . Iain
