mikeyjm26 Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 My side lights keep staying even with the lights switched off. The only way to stop them from running my battery flat is to remove the fuse which is a pain. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks Mikey

karps Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 agree with the above. May sound too easy but many people have been caught out with it

Johnny50 Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 << I needed a jump start thanx to that switch ,after cleaning the cockpit. lol Higgy >> Happened to me when i got my scoob...but wasnt brave enough to admit it !
ian_finlayson Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 I am a right sad git but after my first drive in a new car I like to sit with a cup of tea and read the manual. It was a bit more relevant with the previous cars, BMW and golf 4motion, but the if you read the forums the amount of people who dont know what accessories their car has is amazing. Like auto dip rear view mirrors and auto wipers. and people not knowing that they could close the windows with the remote control. Even down to things like boot locks or "whats this botton for?" Why take the time to go on line and ask when you have a manual
Johnny50 Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Finnie... Think the best question is....what does the bright switch do ???
mikeyjm26 Posted July 19, 2005 Author Posted July 19, 2005 Finnie, I haven't got the manual with my scoob. I'm like you, I like to read it as well to see what everything does, that's how I didn't know and thought I would ask the experts. best regards Mikey
