zeolite Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Neebs. How about we get ourselves organised and have a Fife meet. Just an informal gathering to have a look at each other I know there are a fair few scoobs in the kingdom and a wee meet would be just the thing to get to know each other. I was thinking that a weekday central Fife location would be the thing. so stick your name down and any ideas if you are interested. zeolite
zeolite Posted May 18, 2005 Author Posted May 18, 2005 I should add that there is no Fife RO AFAIK. Kipper who was the RO hasn't been heard from for ages but if I am wrong please let me know. If anyone has ideas about a location stick it up. All ideas welcome zeolite eastfifetyke coulster
paddy247 Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 Im up for that. plenty of car parks at the retail park in dumfermline, where the odeon cinema is!
zeolite Posted May 20, 2005 Author Posted May 20, 2005 I am off to the big blue briny for a couple of weeks so I won't be able to make any more moves on this until then. However...there is no reason why Fife scoob owners can't organise our own meet. I have had a chat with coulster and ther are a few ideas bouncing about. For my part I would suggest an inside meet rather than a car park meet. Let's get a place where we can talk and listen while we get to know each other. Obviously once we get an idea of how many we are we can then see what else we can get up to.
cdowling_bm Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Sounds good. The Dunnikier Hotel in Kirkcaldy have a few car clubs that turn up now and then for meets. I know the VW, TVR, MG and Porsche clubs have met and maybe still meet there. It's walking distance from my house as well . The Legacy's still at AWD but I'll turn up wherever it'll be. When are we talking about anyway?
zeolite Posted May 28, 2005 Author Posted May 28, 2005 I am offshore at the mo. Not sure when I am getting back yet but I will let you know.
zeolite Posted June 18, 2005 Author Posted June 18, 2005 Still away from the Kingdom and down in Dorset at the moment. I will be back on the 24th but I don't know for how long but.....if I said we could try for a meet on the 29th in Glenrothes/Kirkcaldy area who else would be up for it?

zeolite Posted June 29, 2005 Author Posted June 29, 2005 Apologies for the half-arsed way that this has been organised but work has been crazy and I didn't know if I was going to be here today or not. Anyway myself and Mrs Z will be at the Snooty Fox in Glenrothes from 20:00 tonight so come and introduce yourself and we can start getting a bit of community in the Kingdom. map
