I am , just started and I'm crap. I'm a member at Callander.

I played a few rounds with Chris (Gumball) who is also a keen Golfer, puts me to shame anyway. Think there are a few of us sad folk in hereface-icon-small-happy.gifface-icon-small-tongue.gif

I've been known to wander round a golf course with some metal sticks in a bag on the odd occasion. I'm not sure if what I'm doing can be classified as golf, but still.

as matthew said, ive been known to william wallace it around some courses (LONG SHANK) whilst swinging like a snake wrangler in a phone box.

matt plays like a penguin on ice flipping pancakes.

was at gleneagles today at a company event. playing in a medal tomorrow and starting to enjoy things again after the vinter.

organising a game?

this is to see how many play ... well or not dont care, to see if we can try and get a round somewhere, have it as a mini comp with prizes ... sidc stuff, only an idea, dont want to be shot down over this ..... trying to promote the culb.

Alan,i think this is a great idea. Not everything we do has to be car related(but the prizes must be)

A round of golf would be another good social event for the club, count me in.

p.s...i'll contact you later on today re:-the decking,i had to work late

last night sorry mate

I'm a member at Bridgend near Linlithgow, nice wee 9 hole course too so you could include that to your list of possible courses face-icon-small-wink.gif

I'd play. I don't have an official handicap as I'm not really a competitive golfer. But I play once a month with some ex colleagues who maintain handicaps and I play off about 15.

I play at Bothwell Castle. Dunno if I could organise something like this at it though.
