as title, i am this close to saying stuff sidc, why? there are too many cleaks (or seem to be), to much in fighting which is doing nothing for the club ... if folk login for the first time and see whats getting said .... they will poss say ... stuff joining that.

i havent been at all of the west coast meets because of work, etc and the two runs both time i will be on holiday. but if it was possible to be at the meets, runs, etc i would be there but to talk scoobies, and general banter .......... wilky (glen michael) ... the wee one still remembers you ...... says you are mad ...... gaa gaaa gooo goooo!! the central meet that we were at was great as it was all good banter and laughs. this is how it should be,

well thats enough of my pratilling away. all i would say is that if the club and scottish scoobs want to get bigger all the antagonisum (!) has to be worked out .... just look at some of the turn outs to meets down south ... 60 plus cars ....... now thats what we want up here dont we?

I think we've got a great community up here too. Look at the turn outs at the last few big runs!! For the population we have, we do pretty well I reckon. We just need to sort out the lines of communication so no-one feels their toes are getting trod on at times.

At the end of the day we're all here to have fun so lets work together at it. If anyone's got an issue with a specific person, why not sort it out via PM rather than on the public board!! (or phone or any other method of one-to-one communication).

I think the problem may be as simple as a bit of misinterpretation of previous comments made, just because of differing personalities. Let's face it, there's never any of this at face-to-face meets is there???

I don't want to go to a meet to discuss these things it all seems a bit strange, I wanna go, drive fast and talk about cars thats what having the subaru means to me.

Valid point about public discussions maybe better to keep it in the members only area as people say some brave and not so sensible things when behind a keyboard, that doesn't do the clubs image any good.

But just chill and enjoy, I'm not posting as much till the nonsense dies down, got enough problems every day with my work and staff. the last thing I want is to come on here and see it all again.

It will die down, some people will move on and others will stay. This may be good or bad but that's life.

Let's try to stick to what we are here for - cars and meeting people.

We all have our opinions on cars, modifying, "chavs", RO's, whatever but we are all human, all different and all (hopefully) have a life other than the car.

Am in the same zone myself but kind of different. Heres why. This forum. Terrorists in particular whom ive not had the plesure of meeting (been at most events and all Glasgow,Ayrshire meets) and surprise surprise non of them attend anything. My point well as an active member trying my best to improve a stuck in the past twilight zone club to whom neons are not put on Subarus and oh no we cant possibly attend that event were to good for it .......Bollocks.Without progress no new members will join and where will that leave SIDC ? Everytime I post an idea , these terrapests stomp in and slate my ideas and why only them and those like them have the answer to this.

Everyone I have met (and there are a few) have not seemed cleaky to me and i enjoy thier company (most of the time) but thes forums seem to unleash all sorts of trouble. Any new members please come along to the events and meets , meet the guys and girls were not cleaky and will talk to anyone. As for all the crap on these forums ...ignore.

Welcome to new members - let's keep the club diverse and varied. People can freely choose which events to go to or stay away from.

The forums should be factual, friendly and preferably car related.
