Grovit Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 After an abrupt ending to the long awaited MMR, the Soob's been off the road for 2 weeks being fettled with. At 20mph in Penpont, the o/side shock absorber collapsed - fortunately occured only at 20mph. Have now had 2 new KYBs fitted up front, had the geometry set up to Prodrive settings, and also had the Cambelt done as well (it wasn't due for another 8,000 miles - but I wanted peace of mind). Not yet had a proper run in the car to see what the differences are, however initial impressionsare that it does feel as if the car is more responsive to steering inputs and underesteer has been reduced significantly. John at Extreme Motorsport in Whitburn did the work. So - the Soob will all be set up for the Highland Run, where hopefully I will get more than 70 odd miles completed !!
