Gumball Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 I feel that there could be better breaking qualities from my pads and would like to know what folk think i should buy and also how it affects the warranty if i get non brembo pads? having a look round they all seem fine but im just not getting the same feeling from them i did a few days ago. any ideas what it could be other than my imagination? Thanks
fraser_drinkwater Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 NONE YOU ARE A GUMBALLER, I ONLY ADVISE OCTANE BOOSTER.
Gumball Posted April 7, 2005 Author Posted April 7, 2005 i mean, cmon swiggi i feel as though this immature hilarity has worn slightly thin on the ground. Ive moved on.........now im asking for serious advice on my breaking situation in the hope of improving my driving. All i ask is that you support me in trying to fit the mould, and give me genuine advice. HOW MUCH IS THE OCTANE BOOST? CAN I FIT TWO HANDBRAKES?
fraser_drinkwater Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Thats the last of the gumball from me. Gayle is literally shouting at me sorry
Gumball Posted April 7, 2005 Author Posted April 7, 2005 think what she'll be like in 12 months when we're going the next day? shes still got a lot of gumballing banter to go till then.........
sma01 Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 pads I was running on my last scooby were Mintex 1155s, they were pretty good mate....
sma01 Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 I got them along with DBA gold discs(was front only) - total cost was £284, think the set of front pads were £100. .... I got them from Hypertech, the guy who owns it is called Duncan - 01324 812212....his service is excellent, well worth giving him a shout mate
spooks Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Best pads are Pagid and Ferodo DS2500. Not too sure about prices on Brembo calipers but there prolly the best pads avail Spooks
