This moron at a local garage told me it would be around £ 80 for an oil change, fully synthetic i must add, clearly he is doing a seven skinner!!!!! What is the norm please?

Near enough what it should cost you, going through a garage that is! Get yourself some good quality oil...millers 10W60 i use, from Millers themselves in Hillington Ind. Estate and a Subaru filter from any Scooby garage and do it yourself. All in, about £45.
