2559B Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 can anyone recommend a de-cat centre section. don't want anything too loud. was thinking about " NINJA DE-CAT with INTEGRATED SILENCER" ( from scoobyworld ) is this a good replacement?
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 I reckon I'll go down this route too so would appreicate similar advice
Johnny50 Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 I moved from a Nur Spec R, to a scoobyworld Ninja (no silencer though) and backbox. Noise levels were not too bad, not as quiet as i'd expected. If you'd like a vid, i can send one, which lets you hear it from the outside of the car...although, i had equal headers, so sounded a bit different. Let me know and i'll mail you.
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 I'm confused At present I have an non-resonated centre section ( i.e between the BB and cat section) I got it from AWD The Ninja section advertised states that for new age cars it doesn't remove any cats. So surely whats needed is the Afterburner cat pipe in this case ? Thats the one that will decat the section before the downpipe ? Maybe I'm wrong ? Anyd advice welcome
2559B Posted March 9, 2005 Author Posted March 9, 2005 spoke to a friend.. he said this is only suitable for classics, not new age models.
Johnny50 Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Cal...ignore me...i'm talking out my ar$e... Twas the Afterburner centre i had...not the Ninja. Apologies.
2559B Posted March 9, 2005 Author Posted March 9, 2005 think its the afterburner cat pipe... replaces cat and joins to centre section on new age... is this right?
