paulc555 Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 no bother jamie speak to you all soon night scottie.... of to bed been a long day....
jamie_wood Posted February 17, 2005 Author Posted February 17, 2005 Come on, dont start that one Your only as young as you feel , or is it the woman you feel??
jamie_wood Posted February 19, 2005 Author Posted February 19, 2005 Okay then Folks. After Paul mentioning the "Noahs Arc" for Go carting a few nights ago, I called them to see if they still ran them or not. The answer was "Yes". Prices are £3.50 for 5 minute sessions. But they are open to negotiation on the night So is anyone interested in this for a laugh??? The carts are slow and the track is short, but its still a wee blast I guess. There is no bar there though, I think its just a drinks machine, but its better then nowt. We can meet at the proposed site, Broxden, and then decide from there if we all want to go. After the carting we could either return to Broxden for a Cola or two and have a bit of the crack , or we can go into the town for a better priced beverage. I know af a couple of good places to park the cars safely and free if we want to park up for a while. So there you go, choices are yours 1) Meet and greet at Broxden with a Cola in the Brewsters (run by Dick Turpins rellies) 2) Meet and greet at Broxden with Carting followed by Colas down the town (sportsters , big TV.s and bangin' tunnies) 3) Meet and greet at Broxden and a drive into the toon for Colas at Sportsters Choice is your folks Let me know in advance so I can sort a few things out for you all. Regards
derek_robertson Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Hi Buglyboy Karts tooooooo slow for me kiddo I feel the need for speed Am outa here.......................................................................................................................................... ............................................................................................................................................................. ............................................................................................................................................................. ................... ...........................going to bed now cause I'm up early, long drive in the morning ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sti-zlv Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Unless they have a new 3l V6 turbo cart I think I will be at a slight disadvantage(power to weight ratio and all that) Then again I could just ram everyone off the track So I'm not bothered what we do. Wont be bringing the scoob up, it will tucked awat for track day the following day. Matt

Friday 4th 7) Charles ..........Hybridturbo >> Hi Jamie, I won't be along to the meet - I am "meeted" out and this is virtually the only night I am not out anywhere between now and mid march... In light of recent "stresses" and negative issues at meets I could do with a break - not that this will be similar. Gonna try to come to Knockhill for a while on Saturday, but working that night too. Even the West Lothian meet the next week is dubious (as its the only night off for 9 nights) and it will be Julie's birthday on Monday (even then I am working). Better spend a bit of time with her (even days before her Birthday) or I will be Dans le bad books! Can't go to the Ayrshire meet next Friday either as I am working. I am sure you understand - hopefully next time - and everyone else - GET TO THIS MEET!!! You go to all the others. Next time Jamie - hope it is a good 'un though. Brian
jamie_wood Posted March 4, 2005 Author Posted March 4, 2005 BTTT Remember this meet is in Perth folks. So Dundee and Angus folks are welcome too.

jamie_wood Posted March 7, 2005 Author Posted March 7, 2005 Keepin' fit eh, Derek?? I kept fit by walking round the supermarket Were you in the Allan water cafe?? Enjoying an ice cream by any chance?? Or did you go up market and dine in Clive's?
jamie_wood Posted March 7, 2005 Author Posted March 7, 2005 Also meant to say a big thanks to All the guys that turned out on Friday night for the meet. Pity that the Scoobys were out numbered by Cossies Thanks to Andy, Stewart, Colin, Kev, Graham (the RS boys) for turning up .....especialy Andy with the 444BHP Escort Might need to think about calling it an RSSIDC meet the next time I'm still stinking after the Karting The raw petrol is stuck to me . Good crack over all though. Better turn out from the Scoobys next time would be good.
