Okay then Folks. After Paul mentioning the "Noahs Arc" for Go carting a few nights ago, I called them to see if they still ran them or not.

The answer was "Yes".face-icon-small-wink.gif

Prices are £3.50 for 5 minute sessions. But they are open to negotiation on the nightface-icon-small-happy.gif

So is anyone interested in this for a laugh??? The carts are slow and the track is short, but its still a wee blast I guess.face-icon-small-wink.gif

There is no bar there thoughface-icon-small-sad.gif, I think its just a drinks machine, but its better then nowt.

We can meet at the proposed site, Broxden, and then decide from there if we all want to go.

After the carting we could either return to Broxden for a Cola or two and have a bit of the crack , or we can go into the town for a better priced beverage.

I know af a couple of good places to park the cars safely and free if we want to park up for a while.

So there you go, choices are yours

1) Meet and greet at Broxden with a Cola in the Brewsters (run by Dick Turpins rellies)

2) Meet and greet at Broxden with Carting followed by Colas down the town (sportsters , big TV.s and bangin' tunnies)

3) Meet and greet at Broxden and a drive into the toon for Colas at Sportstersface-icon-small-tongue.gif

Choice is your folksface-icon-small-cool.gif

Let me know in advance so I can sort a few things out for you all.

Regards

Unless they have a new 3l V6 turbo cart I think I will be at a slight disadvantage(power to weight ratio and all that)

Then again I could just ram everyone off the trackface-icon-small-tongue.gif So I'm not bothered what we do.

Wont be bringing the scoob up, it will tucked awat for track day the following day.

Hi Jamie,

I won't be along to the meet - I am "meeted" out and this is virtually the only night I am not out anywhere between now and mid march... In light of recent "stresses" and negative issues at meets I could do with a break - not that this will be similar. face-icon-small-cool.gif

Gonna try to come to Knockhill for a while on Saturday, but working that night too. Even the West Lothian meet the next week is dubious (as its the only night off for 9 nights) and it will be Julie's birthday on Monday (even then I am working). Better spend a bit of time with her (even days before her Birthday) or I will be Dans le bad books! Can't go to the Ayrshire meet next Friday either as I am working.

I am sure you understand - hopefully next time - and everyone else - GET TO THIS MEET!!! You go to all the others.

Next time Jamie - hope it is a good 'un though.

Brian

Keepin' fit eh, Derek??

I kept fit by walking round the supermarketface-icon-small-tongue.gif

Were you in the Allan water cafe?? Enjoying an ice cream by any chance??

Or did you go up market and dine in Clive's?

Also meant to say a big thanks to All the guys that turned out on Friday night for the meet.

Pity that the Scoobys were out numbered by Cossiesface-icon-small-shocked.gif

Thanks to Andy, Stewart, Colin, Kev, Graham (the RS boys) for turning upface-icon-small-wink.gif .....especialy Andy with the 444BHP Escort

Might need to think about calling it an RSSIDC meet the next timeface-icon-small-cool.gif

I'm still stinking after the Kartingface-icon-small-disgusted.gif The raw petrol is stuck to me .

Good crack over all though.

Better turn out from the Scoobys next time would be good.face-icon-small-wink.gifface-icon-small-shocked.gif

Yip m8 - Out for a 67 mile cycle face-icon-small-wink.gif

We normally stop at the Coffee Pot (opposite Clive's) or in Causewayhead at Corrieri's and it was a scrambled egg roll with 3 cups of coffee & a cake face-icon-small-blush.gif

Infact its nearly Tuesday when I'll probably do another 50+ miles face-icon-small-smile.gif
