Mako Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 Grant, great idea and with a bit of effort from everyone this could be a great event. I organised the last two Scottish Subaru spectaculars held at Knockhill (2002 & 2003) in conjunction with the Dealer I worked for at the time. Now that I am with a different (new) dealer we would be very happy to help out with this event. Knockhill is a fantastic venue with the obvious benefit of being able to use the track. Parking is also pretty good. If I remember correctly the first event in 2002 we had approx 500 scoobs turn up. Give us a bell mate if you need anything else. wilky Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 If this is going to be a non track related event which perhapes it should be if its not going to steal the thunder from the national day, then I may have a modern hall, a bar, a kitchen, and a huge carpark all in the same location at our disposal for the tidy sum of three groats and a couple of bottle tops. I need to ask my boss but I dont see a drama, as long as we dont get drunk and drive our cars or some knobs start tearing about the place. Where are we talking about, Cumbernauld, you dont get more central than that. Dougster has the full rembrant, if you, or if you prefer the plural, youz, think this is a good idea tell your ROs and Ill start the ball rolling.
