Manx International Rally 2003

Recommended Posts

Its that time of year again!!!

Hi You All,

some of you will Know me, but for those that do not and if you fancy a cracking week or weekend in the Isle of Man listen up.

I am looking for any of you guys and galls that like rallying and might be prepared to help me out with the above event.

This is one of the quickest events in the British Rally Championship, and the very best (in my unbiased opinion of course) for both marshalling and spectating because it's very easy to watch 3 or 4 stages each day and still have time for the beer.

We are still working out the exact prices but they will be good and include ferry crossing for your car as well as hotel accomodation.

I have been organising these trips since 1990 and I can ensure you that all you will have to do is turn up on the boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All the marshalling points, spectater points, beer points, meal points will be sorted and all you have to do is

A, marshal for me at the appointed place

B, Enjoy your driving with no upper speed limits

C, Like your food

D, Like your beer

Interested!!!

Then please get in touch by replying or contact me at mrp@manx.net

Thanks

I can vouch for the Manx hospitality after the SIDC trip last year, second to none from the moment we left the boat face-icon-small-happy.gifface-icon-small-happy.gif

See you later in the year with a bit of luck when the SIDC returns

Hi again paul (and anyone else interested.

I now have the prices for traveling to the Isle of Man for the Manx International Rally 2003.

The Hotel prices range from £91 for 2 nights in the Glen Mona (2 diamond & very basic!) up to £240 for 5 nights in the Empress or Mount Murray (4 star & very nice)

This includes foot passenger fares on the Steam Packet. The car prices range from £89 to £120 (normal fare for then is £199).

If interested let me know,we also have a special deal where the first 50 vehicles get an extra £20 discount.

Hi Richard

Hope I haven't missed the boat on this one so to speak. I would most definately be up for this. I suppose I would have to bring the dragon and the ankle biter but no great worry... armed with wad of my cash they generally amuse themselves nicely.

The 4 Star accom sounds the nuts so if there is any space left me, her, it and the Terzo will be there.

Perhaps you could drop me a line either way.

Cheers
