scuba dou Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Anyone know someone that would do a cash job on the above. Apparently, you can get them glass polished same as a windscreen. Looking at getting the standard Sti lights done to get them back to tip top condition.
johns Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Jools, I've got some fine plastic polish that I used to remove very fine stonechips from my headlamps. Won't remove anything that's big enough to feel with your fingernail, but makes them look OK at anything but close inspection. I suppose you could try something more abrasive like rubbing compound to start with, and then use progressively finer polishes. I'll pop around to your house with the stuff I have at the weekend if you want ? John
Boyakasha Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Jools have you tried the autoglym glass cutting polish. Won't take out deep scratches but worth a try. If you want I can take mine along on Tuesday night for you to try. Marc
scuba dou Posted January 27, 2005 Author Posted January 27, 2005 I'll take you both up on your offers guys. Thanks.
